There has been a change of day for this class!!!

We meet on the first Friday of the month, from 10 am – 12 pm in the Mulgrave room.

In November Book Club Two will discuss The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare. Virtually nothing is known of Shakespeare’s life. His plays certainly contain some very elegant phrasing, clever plot devices and plenty of words never before seen in print.

We will have a complete contrast in December when we study Dark Emu by Bruce Pascoe. Published in 2018 he puts forward an argument for reconsideration of the hunter-gatherer tag for precolonial Aboriginal Australians. Evidence is drawn from early records and diaries of Australian explorers.
