Ladies and Gentlemen!  Can you walk?  If so, you are cordially invited ...

and new members are always welcome to join us every Tuesday at our weekly English Country Dancing sessions between 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm, in the Severin Room followed by a “cuppa”.

Partners are not required.

Thank you to all the organizers of the recent successful Open Day which allowed a few members of our group to showcase just a very small portion of over 250 dances from which we can choose. We hope you enjoyed the performance as much as we did dancing.

We will hold a festive afternoon tea at the end of dancing on 10 December. Some dancing will continue through the December/January break dates to be advised.

The dances and music date from the 16th century onward and can be bright and bubbly, slow and stately or slightly raunchy.  The dances are walked through initially and called throughout, so no experience is needed, only an ability to know the difference between right and left.

This can be a challenge at times but does provide brain and gentle physical exercise together with some frivolity for all involved.

All welcome.
